International Association of
Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Societies

The International Association of Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Societies (IAEMGS) is a global organization composed of 13 regional Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Societies around the world. To better reflect the interests and foci of the member societies, in the Fall of 2013 the IAEMGS changed its name from the International Association of Environmental Mutagen Societies.

The IAEMGS sponsors and/or otherwise supports a variety of international conferences, most notably the quadrennial International Conference on Environmental Mutagens (ICEM). The IAEMGS also supports local EMGS meetings, as well as other relevant meetings such as the International Conference on Mechanisms of Antimutagenesis and Anticarcinogenesis (ICMAA), and the International Conference on Environmental Mutagens in Human Populations (ICEMHP), and the International Workshops on Genotoxicity Testing.

The IAEMGS also provides support for Alexander Hollaender genetic toxicology training courses, which are regularly held worldwide. By promoting collaboration and communication among its member societies, the IAEMGS promotes, supports and fosters training and research in genetic toxicology and environmental mutagenesis.
